Where to find Caterpillar Forklift’s Serial Number

The best way to find serial number on any forklift brand is to check name plate or data tag. Many brands have all of the required data stamped on aluminum data plates (nameplates).

The nameplate on Caterpillar forklift looks like the image below. You can find it near the dashboard, next to the steering wheel.

Usually, Caterpillar forklift’s serial number can also be found above front wheel. Also, Caterpillar forklift’s serial can be found stamped somewhere on the frame of the forklift.
